Claire Larroque holds a PhD in philosophy from Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris 1) and Laval University (Quebec city). She specializes in environmental philosophy and political ecology. Her doctoral thesis is entitled “Environment and waste management in industrialized societies: ethical, social and political implications”. She published several research papers in this field (e.g. “Corruption de la démocratie et enjeu environnemental : la « crise des ordures » napolitaine” (Les ateliers de l’éthique / The Ethics Forum, 9 (1), 167–189) )
