Ariane Revel holds a doctorate in philosophy. She is the secretary of the Association for the Centre Michel Foucault and teaches at the Lycée Julie-Victoire Daubié in Argenteuil. Her work focuses on the modalities of writing political philosophy in modern times, and she is currently working on a book drawn from her dissertation on the relationships between philosophical writing and political transformation in the second half of the 18th century. She is also interested in the contemporary relationships between philosophy and social sciences. She notably co-edited the volume Foucault(s) (Paris, Éditions de la Sorbonne, 2017).
