Matthew Soener

Matthew Soener is an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Illinois - Urbana/Champaign. His research interests include financialized capitalism, social inequality, and the political economy of climate change. Formerly he worked as post-doctoral researcher at Sciences Po studying workplace inequalities in France. Matthew’s articles have appeared in Economy and Society, New Political Economy, Socio-Economic Review, and Sociological Forum.
