Herman Lebovics

Herman Lebovics is an historian of contemporary European cultures and of European colonialism. He teaches at Stony Brook University (NY, USA). His main publications are : Imperialism and the Corruption of Democracies, Bringing the Empire Back Home : France in the Global Age, Mona Lisa’s Escort : André Malraux and the Reinvention of French Culture, and True France : The Wars over Cultural Identity.
