Anne-Hélène Delavigne is a social anthropologist and an associate researcher to a body called Eco-anthropology (UMR 5145) at a department of the French National Research Centre (CNRS) housed at the Paris National Natural History Museum (MNHN). Her main research field deals with meat eating habits, meat processing and distribution (taking into account farmer’s and butcher’s level) as well as meat as a controversial food, conducting fieldwork in some european and west African countries. Another of her research items is related to the food inequality in the current agro-industrial food system with concern for peasants and consummers.
